One Mixbooker's Super Awesome Wedding Invitation

When we first laid eyes on Kyra G.'s super awesome "Super Jeff" wedding invitation, we had to uncover the story behind this comic book-inspired photo project. We talked to the female lead in this love story to get the scoop.

Kyra dishes, "[My fiancé] Jeff and I are what you would call 'geeky.' We love this kind of stuff (comics, etc). It originally started out as me telling the story of how we met. That was a bit boring, so I decided later that making something up would be much more fun. We came up with a damsel in distress story and thought that Super Jeff would be fitting. The computer references stem from the fact that Jeff is a computer engineer, and whenever my computer isn't working, I usually get him to fix it. One of the references where he mentions he's not an IT guy stems from the fact that everyone is always asking him to fix their computers. He always does it, even though it's not his thing (he's a software developer). We both love to laugh and thought this was pretty funny. I hope that my wedding guests also find it just as entertaining. Laughter was my main  inspiration."

Inside this 5x7 folded card, Kyra included three inserts: a 5x5 flat wedding invitation, 3.5x5 flat RSVP card, and a 5x7 flat reception card inviting guests to a separate after-party. We adore Kyra's creative wedding invitation collection and are so grateful she was willing to share her clever idea with fellow Mixbookers.
