Why do you create photo books?

"I started making them for my kids because my dad made one for me, and even though he left when I was five and I never saw him again, the book made me feel loved by him."

Flipping through photo books is a walk down memory lane. Each picture reminds you of a moment you want to cherish, that brings you joy and comfort.

What do your photo books mean to you? Why are they important?

"My kids are hardly kids now (23 and 15). I have a backlog of about 6 years' worth of memories to put into Mixbook. So, when the books arrive, they are somewhat old memories that are fun to relive. But for me, the best part is when my kids excitedly flip through the pages - each with their own book. They read them out, showing the other what is in their book. My daughter even said she wants to take them with her when she moves out."

Time flies, especially when you are a parent. It is easy to get lost in the present, but before you know it the kids have grown and lived lives that could fill up a hundred photo books. They are memories that go with you, just like Juni's daughter who will not leave home without them. Mixbook will make them worthy of lasting a lifetime.

What is your favorite feature or tool when using the Mixbook Editor?

"I love the many themes! Since I document every single photo, anecdote, and memory of my kids' lives, there are times in the middle of a project that I get tired, uninspired. So, I start another book with a different theme, and I am again inspired. When I start to get tired of 1 book, I go back to another, and that way I'm always re-inspired! Since Mixbook is so easy to use, drag-and-drop, page layout options, now easy to copy-paste with the control keys, all the stickers and new fonts, I now have a total of 38 (27 + 11 Scrapblogs) mostly thick (over 100 pages) photobooks!"
